Literacy for early years
Alphabet Playdough Mats with Lowercase and Uppercase letters
A set of 26 alphabet playdough mats that will offer little learners in pre schoolers, EYFS and homeschools the chance to practice their letter formation and recognition skills in a fun and hands on way.
Each playdoh mat includes both the uppercase and lowercase letter from A-Z. The mats have a prehistoric themed background which would compliment a dinosaur themed classroom or even stone age study.
HOW TO USE THESE?
The mats are low prep. All you need to do is print and laminate and then you’re good to go!
Children can enjoy practicing their abc’s whilst working on their fine motor skills by manipulating the playdough into the shape of the outlined letters.
Alternatively…
You can turn them into alphabet tracing mats by giving students a dry eraser marker pen and letting them trace around the letter.
Both of these activities will reinforce letter recognition and letter formation.
